So for my class, I have to publish a blog weekly. It took me a while to decide what to publish, but I figured the most passionate thing I had going for me, was my current internship. Internships are a great way to seperate yourself from the competition, and showcase your talents to others. During my college experience, I have had the opportunity to showcase my talents at two internships, one at Caterpillar and the other at the Peoria Art Guild. My internship at Caterpillar was an amazing opportunity, but it showed me I was not right for the company. It was a great company, but with my roles and responsibility, I realized that Caterpillar was not the place I wanted to grow and showcase future potential.
I currently hold an internship at Peoria Art Guild. My internship responsibilities include the marketing and promotions of a new event, Nude Attitude. It is the first event of its kind, and it something I hold special to my heart. The event is mine, and I have control over all things Nude Attitude. As an intern, this is something you do not get often, and the event has my full attention. My blog is going to showcase the event over time and the activities I get to participate in during my internship.
